Django Basics- articles/test.py test case

I'm just curious what I'm doing wrong with my code to test that the email attribute is indeed in the output

articles/tests.py
from django.test import TestCase
from .models import Writer
import unittest

class WriterModelTestCase(TestCase):
    '''Tests for the Writer model'''
    def test_model_creation(self):
        writer = Writer.objects.create(
            name='pavle coric',
            email = 'coric.2@osu.edu',
        )
        self.assertIn(writer.email, mailto())
articles/models.py
from django.db import models

class Article(models.Model):
    headline = models.CharField(max_length=255)
    publish_date = models.DateTimeField()
    content = models.TextField()
    writer = models.ForeignKey('Writer')

    def __str__(self):
        return self.headline

class Writer(models.Model):
    name = models.CharField(max_length=255)
    email = models.EmailField()
    bio = models.TextField()

    def __str__(self):
        return self.name

    def mailto(self):
        return '{} <{}>'.format(self.name, self.email)

Hi Pavle

You need to call the mailto method on the writer object you create.

from django.test import TestCase

from .models import Writer

class WriterModelTestCase(TestCase):
    '''Tests for the Writer model'''

    def test_writer_model(self):
      writer = Writer.objects.create(
        name='pavle coric',
        email = 'coric.2@osu.edu',
        bio=""
      )
      self.assertIn(writer.email,writer.mailto())
