Do developers use jQuery for AJAX often?

How often do front-end developers use jQuery for AJAX? Should I be pouring my time into jQuery or focusing on another library or framework?

I'd say that it's being used less and less due to 1) the native fetch() interface and 2) with React, Vue, etc., you don't want to pull in another entire library just for the AJAX functionality.

I do use jquery for AJAX. Jquery ajax is much simple. you can learn AJAX jquery in less than a day. if you are new to programming I suggest start with that.
