Do I need to pay for the ios developer program to run my app? everytime i try to run it it tells me i need to join

When i try to run it i get the pop-up saying i need to register

I think if you're trying to run it to a device you do. If you're just running it in the simulator you should be fine.

Yes. In order to run your app on your own iOS device, you must be a member of the iOS developer program. which costs $99 for a year long membership. You can always run your app in the simulator if you have the free developers account.

Thanks nick for the fast response ! But it tells me to sing up for the developer program when i press "play" to run the app on te simulator .....

Make sure in the upper left hand corner you're choosing to run it on a device in the simulator, rather than your iOS device!
