23,414 PointsDo I properly understand the use of the 'this' keyword in constructor functions?
function Student(grade, age, gender) {
this.grade = grade;
this.age = age;
this.gender = gender;
}
/*
inside the constructor function, the 'this' keyword refers to the new INSTANCE of the object
i.e. the new variable name created
SEE BELOW:
new variable created - kris
kris.grade = 'A'
kris.age = 27
kris.gender = 'male'
*/
let kris = new Student('A', 27, 'male');
console.log(kris);

Since inside the constructor itself, you don't know it by name.
