Java Java Objects (Retired) Meet Objects Creating Classes

Do We have to name the file name Exactly as the class name ?

Pls Help me !

Hi Tony,

You must have a public class with the same name as the file name. Otherwise, compiler will throw an error. Inner, non public class names may differ.

Why was this down-voted?

If the public class does not match the file name you get an error. In this test case the file is named Test.java but the public class is Game:

$ javac Test.java                                                           
Test.java:1: error: class Game is public, should be declared in a file named Game.java           
public class Game{                                                                               
       ^
