Do we literally have to update every tiny change we make to the project files?

The purpose of keeping track of each change in your code should be significant because you wouldn't know where or when you made an error in your code. You won't know when and where you need to reference your earlier versions of your code either. Also, the grader needs to see every change in your code because that's the best way to asses how you solve problems, how you approach each problem is reflected in the changes that you made, but more importantly, it will help you debug your code later on.
