My code works fine in local machine but not accepted by the code challenge. Can anyone please help me pass the code challenge and review my code? Thanks in advance

while ( secret !== "sesame" ) {

document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
*/

let correctPass = false;

do {
    let pass = prompt("What is the secret password?");
    if (pass !== "sesame") {
        secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
    } else{
        correctPass = true;
    }
} while (!correctPass) // This condition has to be false to break out the loop, !true = false breaks out the loop
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

I agree the error message is confusing, but some hints based on the things I know this challenge is expecting:

  • you don't need to create any new variables, just use "secret"
  • the conditional expression of the "while" is the only test needed
  • there should only be one call to "prompt" in the revised loop

Yeah, I made the code unnecessarily complicated. Thanks for your help Steven. Highly appreciated :)
