Do you still need to use the JavaScript shim when using the figure and figcaption tags with normalize.css?

I was just wondering if I use normalize.css, should I still use the JavaScript "shim" if use the figure and figcaption tags for older browsers?

A normalize script just presets the browsers to a common starting point.

It won't add handling for element types not recognized by the browser. You'll still need a shim or modernizer for that.

But you may want to re-evaluate which features still need special support. The browsers and versions you are concerned about may have declined in usage considerably since the course videos were made.

I was thinking the same thing Steven, with declining browsers. Thank you.
