Does anybody else feel overwhelmed by this course?

I enjoyed this course but it's so overwhelming.

Looking back at the finished code, I have a rough idea of what is going on but I don't feel like it was all clearly explained and I'm just not sure what to do with it in order to make my own app with it.

This is called 'basics' but it doesn't feel like it. It feels like there was a LOT of complex things going on in this course that were unfamiliar to me as a straight-forward frontend developer, and it I don't feel like I've got a good grip on it at all.

Does anybody else feel the same?
