Does anybody know what element to use?

I'm trying to create my text to flow down the page instead of across the page underneath my image. What elements should i use so my text flows down the page instead of across the page. I tried to use the <p> tag but it wouldn't work. Here is my code below. You can also go to bricefranks.com and click "About" page to see what I'm trying to do. Thanks!

<div class="profile-photo"> <img src= "img/bricebf.jpg" alt= "photograph of Brice Franks" style= "float: left"> <div class= "img"><em>Life Coach</em></div> <div class= "img"><em>Project Coordination</em></div> <div class= "img"><em>Quality Assurance</em></div> </div>

The simplest thing you can do at this stage is increase the bottom margin on .profile-photo. Change it to 100px for instance. In later lessons, you'll see better ways to handle this.
