Does Flexbox replace "Media queries?

Is it necessary to have media queries to your website project when working with flexbox? I thought first that it replaced media queries, but I appear I don't? Do you use flexbox inside media queries?

It doesn't replace them, no. It does have useful properties that can be used to reduce the number of styles you might otherwise apply to a media query.

You might use a media query though to change an element controlled by Flexbox to make it controlled by display: block though before the mobile browsers catch up with everything that things like Flexbox and Grid have to offer! :-)
