Doesn't programming languages have colors?

I don't know dawg.. since I joined treehouse I have believed that the color of Python was pink, now I'm confused if programming languages even have colors. For example, as we all know: The sky is blue, grass is green and cars are red. I also used to believe that Python was pink, but now, with the new colors, I'm confused.

I noticed too! I thought it was just my browser acting funny :/

It turns out that Treehouse has made a major update to the website! Now it seems that different kinds of topics have different colors, instead of every single individual topic having a different color.

If this is the new color scheme it looks like:

  • blue: frontend
  • aqua-y blue: backend
  • darkish red: elective
  • and there's at least two others
