var ok: String? if ok != nil{ print("Found (ok!)") }

Hey Thomas Katalenas,

You can also use optional binding to safely unwrap an optional value.

var ok: String?

// If ok has a nil value, the code in the block will never be executed
if let hasValue = ok {
    print("Found \(hasValue)")
}

Good Luck!

how would I use optional chaining for this

if let isValue = ok?.toInt() {
    print(" Found \(hasValue)")
}
