Don't put quote marks around operators (like +).

And you'll want to add a space after the word loves so that it won't run into the name that is being added on.

If you remove the quotes around the + you should be fine. As it reads you have two strings, "Treehouse loves" and "+" with no operator in between them.

subject = "Treehouse loves" "+" name

should be

subject = "Treehouse loves " + name
