Hi Joakim,

You shouldn't remove all the html markup from "layout.html" because it is needed in order to extend to other templates. The challenge asks you to remove it all in "index.html" because it inherits everything from "layout.html". (You should also remove the <body> tags in "index.html").

layout.html should look like this:

<!doctype html>
<html>
<head><title>{% block title %}Smells Like Bakin'{% endblock %}</title></head>
<body>
{% block content %}{% endblock %}
</body>
</html>

Hope this helps.
