PHP Object-Oriented PHP Basics (Retired) Classes and Objects Creating a Class and Defining an Object

Don't understand why the program says my object is not right

They wanted me to create an object names "bluegill" that is an instance of the class Fish. Did i not get it right? it keeps saying 'Bummer! try again'

class Fish { // my class }

$bluegill = new Fish();

Hey. Well, if this is really the Code you're trying, you need to place your second bracket on a new Line, because you commented it out. So your Code should look like this:

<?php

class Fish 
{ // my class 
}

$bluegill  =  new Fish();

?>
