2,358 PointsDownload swift, yes or no?
Hi, this maybe a stupid question. But I didin't quite understand if I'm suppose to download both swift and xcode? I have a macbook pro, and I've downloaded xcode from the appstore and now I'm trying to figure out if I'm also suppose to download swift from swift.org, do you have any tutorials on how to do it step by step (hello new kids on the block) I'm really new at swift and don't want to mess everything up.
Thanks!

2,156 PointsHello,
Swift is a programming language used to program iOS apps, so you don't technically download Swift as a program or anything. Once you open Xcode, you will be able to write code using Swift, since it's just a programming language. It comes with the program.
