echo function.

Index.php is the server code which sends some lines to the html browser. It sends any through the echo statements. Here, there is no html tag, but echo only outputs, " I am Mike". How come the browser display without any html tags.

P.S. I am not sure if index.php is the server side or client side code.

Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you!

Hi Srinath,

The browser parser is very tolerant about errors. This means it tries to fix a lot of the errors automatically. in this case it adds the necessary tags to make the document work.
