JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Making Decisions with Conditional Statements Add a Final Else Clause

Else if Issue

The challenge I am stuck on states the following:

"Add a final else clause to this conditional statement so that if the isAdmin variable and isStudent variables are both false an alert opens with the message "Who are you?"

Here is the work I have

var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if ( isStudent ) {
    alert('Welcome student');
} else( false ) {
    alert("Who are you?");
}

Not quite sure how to specify in the code if both are wrong to run the alert message "Who are you?".

Just else - no need to test for false.

That way, if the first two tests are false, it'll run the last else clause.

Steve.

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if ( isStudent ) {
    alert('Welcome student');
} else {
    alert("Who are you?");
}
