What is wrong with my elseif statement?
var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = true;
if ( isAdmin ) {
alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if ( isStudent ) {
alert('Welcome student'.);
}

19,914 PointsThe reason why your if statement is not running is because you have a period in the alert() method.
alert('Welcome student'.); // change it to alert('Welcome student');

8,227 PointsThere doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your else if statement, but you do have a .

call.

Courses Plus Student 12,662 PointsHi Keli'i, I did put the . inside the quotes and still get a bummer!!

8,227 PointsThe challenges are very particular about what you output. If they want you to specifically output Welcome, student
and not Welcome, student.
, then you will get a bummer.
