Emulator: process finished with exit code 0

Hi I downloaded Nexus 5X API 27. I'm trying to run the app and when I do the feedback is as follows:

  • Executing tasks: [:app:assembleDebug]
  • Emulator: Process finished with exit code 0
  • Gradle build finished in 10s 496ms

I don't get what is wrong. The emulator pops up for a split second and then disappears again. Please help
