Hi Rigby, check this out;

def hello_student(name):
    return('Hello {}'.format(name))

I think you have to give in a parameter in your function which is the "name". Does this help?

Your Version + my version = our version;

def hello_student(name):
    name = 'Rigby'
    return name

la = 'Hello ' + hello_student('Rigby')

print(la)

OR

def hello_student():
    name = 'Rigby'
    return name

la = 'Hello ' + hello_student()

OR

def hello_student(name):
    return name

la = 'Hello ' + hello_student("Rigby")

print(la)
