Entry level Jobs?

Hello, I have a quick question about entry level jobs. I keep seeing Jr. Developer jobs that say, "basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript". I've found that I absolutely love JavaScript. My question is, what exactly are they asking? I'm completely new to this field so any detailed answer will help! Im about halfway through the Full Stack Javascript track, but i don't feel confident in my skills just yet. So what exactly are these people looking for in a junior developer (what tasks are usually involved)?

basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript

basically they need individuals who has those 3 basic skills and can be given with set of tasks related to these three. Like for example doing some registration forms which involves lay-outing html inputs, buttons as well as designing them by using CSS and providing basic validations using JS.

Those 3 basic skills go hand in hand and the prerequisites in order for an individual to perform in web development.

ah k that makes sense, so as a junior developer, would you design and code these things and a senior would tidy up or make it super-awesome? lol

I had some of the same questions as well and i've read some really good articles on the treehouse blog about what to expect from employers. You should check it out blog.teamtreehouse.com

ah thanks! I always forget they have a blog...

Interesting! See if we can find out more information late on.
