Python Object-Oriented Python Inheritance Complex Relationships

Error

I am getting a TypeError: object() takes no parameters
Here is my code

class Character: 
    def __init(self, name, **kwargs):
        self.name = name


        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

class Thief(Character):
    sneaky = True


    def pickpocket(self):
        return self.sneaky and bool(random.randint(0, 1))


    def hide(self, light_level):
        return self.sneaky and light_level < 10

    ```
Here is what is happening in the console

treehouse:~/workspace$ python

from characters import Thief
kenneth = Thief("Kenneth")

TypeError: object() takes no parameters

Hi Falah!

One thing I noticed is that you are definitely missing something here:

def __init(self, name, **kwargs):

Not sure if that fixes your code...

Nevermind, I was able to fix it :) Thanks for your help!
