Error for the font.

In checking the HTML I get the following error in regarding the font derived from Google:

Error Line 7, Column 138: Bad value http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Changa+One|Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700,800 for attribute href on element link: Illegal character in query: not a URL code point.

Any thoughts on why this came about and if there are any remedies?

hey Morgan Hondros , the reason you're getting this error is the pipe charachter | in the url. if you remove this in the validator (for testing) you'll see that it will pass just fine. so there's nothing to worry about, you can use the font-url google provided without any problems and in this case safely ignore the validator warning.

hope that helps and have a nice day ;)

You can replace the character | by its corresponding UTF-8 character %7C - for example I used:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Changa+One%7COpen+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700,800">
