Python Object-Oriented Python (retired) Objects Create a Class with a Method

Error in output

Treehouse shows error in my program. But I didnt get what the error is. The following is my code:

method.py
class Store:
  open='9'
  close='6'
  def hours(self):
    x='We are from {} to {}'.format(open,close)
    return self.x

1 Answer

Because the open and close is instance member, so you should use them like self.open and self.close. And because the x is not the instance member, so you should return it directly as return x.

So the code should be like below:

class Store:
  open='9'
  close='6'
  def hours(self):
    x='We are from {} to {}'.format(self.open, self.close)
    return x

I hope this is what you want.
