iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Functions Syntax and Parameters

Error message does not make sense

Bummer! Your greeting printed "Hello Tom" when called with "XYZZY" as the parameter. It should have printed "Hello XYZZY". Preview

Check the code i inputed and please give feedback, confused by error message

if you are on task 2, remove the function call at the bottom. Looks like thats whats giving you the error.

task 2 states: Modify the println statement within the greeting function to use the variable person. For example, if you pass a person named "Tom" to the function then it should display: Hello Tom. (Hint: you must use string interpolation).

it does not ask you to call the function yet, so remove the call:

func greeting(person: String) {
    println("Hello \(person)")
}
