Error: "tar: This does not look like a tar archive"

I believe I have saved a download of sqlite-autoconf-3200100.tar.gz to my newly created src/ file.

But when I try to run "tar -xfv sqlite-autoconf-3200100.tar.gz ", it comes up with the following error message:

"tar: This does not look like a tar archive gzip: standin: not in gzip format tar: Child returned status 1 Tar: error is not recoverable: exiting now"

It may (or may not) be helpful to know that I am using firefox on a windows machine.

Fixed.

I used 2013 in the URL when I downloaded the file, but it should be 2017, not 2013

sqlite.org/2013/sqlite-autoconf-3200100.tar.gz incorrect

sqlite.org/2017/sqlite-autoconf-3200100.tar.gz correct

It works now!

Thanks, Adam Rubinson ...
