Exercise: “Challenge Task 2 of 4 - Set the color of paragraphs to black using a hexadecimal value” - need support

Hey guys,

During exercise: “Challenge Task 2 of 4 - Set the color of paragraphs to black using a hexadecimal value” I got stuck. When trying to make the body text black using the code below I don’t get the desired results.

body { color: #000; }

Please help me out. How do I style the paragraph elements only to black in such a way that the quiz accepts.

Thanks! Joey

css/main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
}

body {
  color: #000;
}

Hey Joey, try selecting the paragraph elements directly:

p { color: #000; }

Thanks a lot, Josh, that did the trick!

If the above answer doesn't work try using the long form of the hexadecimal:

000000

Thanks Lucy, it was the selection that was the problem in the end.
