Python Python Basics Meet Python Using Input

favorite color

i rewatched the video and im stuck on this one

using_input.py
favorite_color=input("What is your favorite color?")
favorite_color=("The color purple is a great color"!)

1 Answer

Your first line is correct. This allows the user to input any color. The second line needs to take this input and put into the sentence,

"The color {} is a great color!"

This can be achieved by using the .format() statement. Example:

"My favorite color is {}.".format("Green")

The strings can be replaced by variables.
