Favorite Editor?

Hey guys, I have a question for you - What is your favorite text editor for HTML5 and CSS3 (Plus more)?

I am using Aptana Studios 3, and can't decide whether to go back to Visual Studios 2012 or Dreamweaver. I originally used Visual Studios, and loved the virtualized setup, but then one day it rolled back all my work by a week so I switched. Now I use Aptana Studios 3 and use XAMPP to have localhost available again.

I've been using Brackets for a bit. has more enhancements for worklow than i could list here.

That is the ide I have been trying to think of! It was my first IDE, then I got Sublime on my mac and Visual Studios on my windows. Thanks for reminding me.

Hello Kyle,

My favorite text editor is Sublime Text 2 for pretty much any language/markup.

Been playing with NetBeans for HTML/CSS/Javascript development. Is a bloated IDE, but the editor and environment is growing on me. https://netbeans.org/features/html5/

Co-sign Justin Horner Tab expansion helps to speed up workflow as well. Eclipse is great for coding too but it's a bit clunky imho.

I use Dreamweaver for the major lifting, and Notepad++ for small changes/quick work.

I use coffeacup. It's very professional and free. :)

I agree with you guys about the bloat, but I really just ignore most of it. I think Sublime Text can be a little to simplistic at times though.

PHPStorm. Not free but well worth it. Great for CSS, HTML too . Up to date and easy to use.
