2,811 PointsFeedback on Module 1/3 from Dates and Times
I had the tendency to over complicate things in this module and I think it is due to the fuzzy way in which some questions are listed.
Generally, the Dates and Time module seems to lack cohesion. There are some questions in the task part that are very hard to understand what they want us to do.
You also do not have the console-check thingy from the previous modules where you could check where it fails the test (on treehouse). In my console some worked but on treehouse workspaces they did not. Most of them wanted a specific way of writing the code which was hard to figure out from the requirements of the task.
For the "Timedelta" - 4 question challenge, where we are asked to "Create a timedelta that goes back 5 minutes." I have to admit that this was so simple that I did not realize that you need minutes in the left side and -5 in the other.
- if you fail this part, you have to retake the entire quiz which is odd as you should have "how" and "where" to check if you submit something correct or not. Some helpful hints could also be useful.
