Anyone have the feeling like they are not learning anything. I’m working in the java track and just finished the hangman game. ( I have done this 3 times now). I feel like I’m getting no where and waistline time. I really really want to be a programmer but beginning to think this is not for me, Just feeling discouraged

If you have some time to spare please read this:

#CodingWisdom: When You Want to Quit
In my case I also struggle to follow with what Craig is talking about. However, I learn that if I take too much understanding each words I will get frustrated and waste time. Thus in my case I kept on going and so far I manage to solve all challenges and quizzes. After I got to JavaFX it was both getting clearer and there are still lot more to learn. Thus right now After finishing the Java Track I am still revisiting my Hangman code and copy it to my local IDE. I want to reproduce the game with better GUI.
In the process I want to draw the project structure, I need to do this to understand the thinking behind making classes. I need to understand how to develop workflow. But please keep on coding. Do not stop now. Do not overthink yourself now. Please at least read the articles, finish the track. If you have problems with your Quizzes or Challenges please reach out to the community.
I believe learning to code is like learning a new language. You need to speak the language do not just hearing other people speak and explain the language. Let it be bad for now in the end your body will remember how to pronounce then you will get more understanding of the language patterns. Same as coding right now you need to make your fingers get used to the coding pattern. Just accept what you do as it is for now do not overthink it yet. I also still struggling to understand but as Craig said you do not need to memorize all aspects. You just need to understand the reasoning and what better way to understand the reasoning other than type your own code. Our body is learning that is what I believe.
I hope this can help you a little. I am also still struggling to keep up. But I believe all hard works regardless of talents will always be useful. Maybe not now but someday.
