JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Passing an Argument to a Function

Finally, from the returnValue function return the value passed in.

I have no idea what on earth I'm doing. I'm struggling so much with this one

script.js
function returnValue ('value') {
  var echo = 'value';
    return 'value';
}
returnValue ('value');

Looks like you have a little more in this function than you need.

  1. parameters declared to the function do not need quotations.
  2. the variable inside is not neccessary here. 3 the return line calling the value again does not need quotations

I skipped #2 and did more then asked, and it messed me up on challenge #3 1 is setting function without anything 2 is naming that function inside these ( ) 3 is adding the return. not returnValue not sure if that helps
