I'm not sure what you mean by "going against itself", but you have enclosed a bit too much in the main element.

Also, did you change something else after passing task 2? You seem to have the wrong tags around the "social media" area.

i did they were aside tags not section tags but it said on task 3 that aside tags can't be inside main tags

I need to either increase my typing speed or shorten my narratives. Lol  :)

Trevor Cooper ā€” That's exactly what I meant by "enclosed a bit too much". The main element should end before the aside element starts.

Move your </main> to after your last </article> closing, but before the "Social Media" section. Change your "Social Media" <section> back to <aside></aside> and you should be good to go!

Hey Trevor,

First off, you changed the tags that you used to pass the second Task. You would have had to have the correct ones <aside> to pass Task 2, but now for Task three, it seems to be changed to <section> which is incorrect.

I'm assuming you got the "Task x is no longer passing" which is why you went back to Task 2. In short, don't! That error is misleading. It always means that you have introduced an error in the current task you are working on.

So, first, you will need to change that Task 2 tags back to what they are supposed to be ... <aside>.

As for Task 3, you misplaced the closing </main> tag. You included the <h3> Social media section, when the instructions said to just include the articles. So, the closing </main> needs to be moved up to just under the final closing </article> tag.

Just a note: If you get one of those "Task x is no longer passing" errors, do not click the "go to task x" button, as there is nothing wrong with that task. The problem is somewhere in the current Task and related to something you just added.

Hope this helps. :) :dizzy:

what is an element that represents the main content of the <body> of the page.

You had that right. It's main, of course.
