First I changed the $books array format to this one: $books[1] = array("ISBN"=>"978-0743261690", "title"=> "Gilgamesh");

What should I do next?

books.php
<?php

$books[1] = array("ISBN"=>"978-0743261690", "title"=> "Gilgamesh");
$books[2] = array("ISBN"=>"978-0060931957", "title"=> "The Odyssey");
$books[3] = array("ISBN"=>"978-0192840509", "title"=> "Aesop's Fables");
$books[4] = array("ISBN"=>"978-0520227040", "title"=> "Mahabharta");
$books[5] = array("ISBN"=>"978-0393320978", "title"=> "Beowulf");

?>
<html>
<head>
    <title>Five Great Books</title>
</head>
<body>
    <h1>Five Great Books</h1>
    <ul>
        <?php foreach($books as $isbn["ISBN"]) { ?>
            <li><?php //echo $isbn; ?></li>
    </ul>
</body>
</html>

Hi Juan,

There's a far simpler way to do what this challenge wants you to do. There's no reason to modify the original $books array at all. You only need to modify what is in the foreach loop. First, you use the $key => $value pairing in the foreach loop ($isbn is the key and $book is the value) and then you just echo out the code that you need to echo out which is after the title (which is $book remember), a space, an open parenthesis, the ISBN number, and then a closing parenthesis:

<?php

$books["978-0743261690"] = "Gilgamesh";
$books["978-0060931957"] = "The Odyssey";
$books["978-0192840509"] = "Aesop's Fables";
$books["978-0520227040"] = "Mahabharta";
$books["978-0393320978"] = "Beowulf";

?><html>
<head>
    <title>Five Great Books</title>
</head>
<body>
    <h1>Five Great Books</h1>
    <ul>
        <?php foreach($books as $isbn => $book) { ?>
            <li><?php echo $book . " (" . $isbn . ")"; ?></li>
        <?php } ?>
    </ul>
</body>

Thank you Marcus, I am learning to code, I tend to complicate things when there's no need for.

Thanks again!

It's perfectly fine! You just gotta have someone tell you sometimes to keep it simple :) You're welcome, and happy coding, Juan! =]
