FizzBuzz code challenge

Hi all,

Can someone explain why the code below will not work? I have used the same code in Xcode and it works fine. Error message asks me to recheck the logic for "Fizz". but I can see the issues if there is one.

help if you can. Cheers.

fizzBuzz.swift
func fizzBuzz(n: Int) -> String {
  // Enter your code between the two comment markers
  for n in 1...100 {
  if (n % 3 == 0) && (n % 5 == 0) {
  print("FizzBuzz")
  } else if (n % 3 == 0){
  print("Fizz")
  } else if (n % 5 == 0){
  print("Buzz")
  }else {
  print(n)
  }

  }
  // End code
  return "\(n)"
}

Hey Ricky,

Yes, your code will work in Xcode as the logic and syntax is correct. :thumbsup:
However, it is not what the instructions for the challenge ask for. Challenges are very specific and instructions need to be followed exactly or the task will fail, even though it works elsewhere. This challenge is even more specific and picky than the others, so you just need to take your code and refactor it to follow the instructions for the task and it will pass.

Something to keep in mind for future challenges... just because it works on your machine does not mean it will work here. Even something as small as a missing period in a string or a spelling error will cause the Challenge to fail.

Keep Coding! :) :dizzy:
