Does float work in an elements that has been set to absolute position.

19,201 PointsNo, float will not work with absolute positioned elements. If you need to move an element with absolute position use the right or left css property. The example below will align the div to the left edge of its parent element.

position:absolute;
left:0px;

7,595 PointsNope. If you use absolute positioning, set the position (left or right) to 0 when you want the element to be on that side.
