10,605 PointsFloating Pokeball using Keyframes & A thank you to Guil
I would like to just share an experiment I made today with a popular franchise we may all know. I also wanted to discuss the many potentials that keyframes have. We know, by now, that animating on the web does exist. A few years back, I never thought there was such a thing. When I was in Middle School, a time where design was not a key focus for websites, I thought I knew everything about the different features of CSS.
A few years later CSS3 is introduced, and I did not quite experiment as often as I did with other languages. After signing up to Treehouse I noticed something, something that we can all relate to. You never actually 'know everything' about a particular subject, there is always something new. I would like to thank Guil for teaching CSS, I took this course as a review at first, but once I saw keyframes, animations, and different features that I had never heard of I came to the realization that there were things I never knew until now.
Thank you Guil.
One tip I'd love to give to everyone is to experiment, experiment a lot. Here is a link to one of my experiments with keyframes: http://codepen.io/Gamma/pen/yauhx
If any of you have experiments, feel free to share. I'd like to see what other people are working on in terms of CSS animations or anything of the like.
Edit: Can anyone move this to 'General Discussion', I made a mistake for putting it on the Css discussion area. Thank you.

Treehouse TeacherYou're very welcome, Guled A! I'm glad to hear that you got a lot out of it. And yes, as you mentioned, experiment, experiment, experiment!! That's what I tell all the students.
Please share more of your work. :)

10,605 PointsI did another experiment just last night. I got inspiration from SquareSpace's preloader effect. When you first go on their website, you'll see their logo in a quick 1-3 sec duration with a white background. I thought about Keyframe animations making the same effect without the need of external libraries, or javascript. Though, I feel as if this is only a prototype. More can be implemented. There are two demo's down below, one with a welcome message and one with an image.
