'FlySpawner' does not contain a definition for 'totalFlies'???

I followed everything exactly as shown and i'm getting compile errors. When I select Game Manager in the Hierarchy window the Inspector says there is Nothing Selected. It also says "The associated script can not be loaded. Please fix any compile errors and assign a valid script". I've been stuck at this for a while and can't continue the project until I figure this out.

Make sure that you don't have the 'lock' icon at the top right corner of the inspector window in the locked position.

Try reloading Unity. Sometimes it acts weird for me too and I have to restart it.
