HTML How to Make a Website Styling Web Pages and Navigation Style the Portfolio

Followed the coding exactly however the Picture 12 is on the right side of screen and no white space between images?

I followed all the instructions as per the course however:

  • Picture 12 is on the right hand of screen

  • There's no spacing between images (No white space)

I tried to change multiple things and I can get white space by changing padding however I can't get Picture 12 to be on the right hand side.

I made sure all the images were all the same sizes

I changed different things in the coding to see if it would make a difference.

I tried multiple browsers (Google Chrome and Safari) and I get the same result.

Can you please help me?

Do you have any floats in your css? And is image#12 on its own <li> element? If it is on the same <li> as the previous image it would show up directly after that previous image. Can you show your code/workspace?

HI Conrad,

Thank you for the quick reply.

I do have a float left on #gallery li

Here is my Index.html code:

Hey Chris,

Sorry for the delay! Was out and about all weekend. From what I can see, you are missing a colon is two places:

1) The h1 element under /--HEADING--/ has "font-size 1.75em;". Add a colon like so "font-size: 1.75em;"

2) The margin assigned to your #gallery li is also missing a colon. Your code above has "margin 2.5%;". Try "margin: 2.5%;" That should fix the white spaces :)

Let me know how it looks!
