Font sizing in CSS @media elements

I have tried this but it seems like I am doing something wrong. I cant tell where the problem is.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

@media(max-width:1020px) {

  .main-header{
  background-color:tomato;
  color:white;
  }

}

@media(max-width: 768px){
  .title{
  font-size: 1.4rem;
  }
  .h1{
  font-size: 5rem;
  }

}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header id="top" class="main-header">
      <span class="title">Journey Through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
      <h1 class="main-heading">Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    </header>

        <div class="primary-content">
            <p class="intro">
                Lake Tahoe is one of the most breathtaking attractions located in California. It's home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's reputation.
            </p>
            <a class="callout" href="#more">Find out more</a>
        </div><!-- End .primary-content -->
  </body>
</html>

You're close, but since "h1" is a tag name, the selector for it should not have a period prefix.
Periods are used for class selectors.

@media(max-width: 768px){
     .title{
            font-size: 1.4rem;
     }

    h1{ /* tag selector not class selector , so you don't need the (.) before it */
        font-size: 5rem;
    }
}

Good luck :)

It is okey . It's so normal to find yourself in such position, because you are focusing on the big pic, so you missed a little details like that. every developer/ programmer finds him/herself in same problem sometimes. Good luck :)
