for some reason, my app.js file is not being read by the workspace.

while trying to do the same code as the video on the workspace, my app.js file is not being read so no functions are showing when I refresh my page.

Go to the Workspace section, then delete the workspace for the video your having trouble with. Keep in mind it'll reset everything to how it was when you first opened it.
