Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String Formatting

.formart on the strings

OK, now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable subject (so start with subject =).

You do not need to print() anything.

strings.py
name = "stewart"
subject = "Treehouse loves {} ".formart(name)

It looks like you just have a couple of typos/spelling issues:

  • there's a stray extra space after the placeholder in the template string
  • you have "formart" (with an extra "r") instead of "format"
