The challenge required you to assign the formatted string to the variable subject, instead of printing. If I print subject at the end of your code, it won't be "Treehouse loves Jozef" as you want it to be.

name = "Jozef"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}"
print(subject.format(name))

print subject #You will get "Treehouse loves {}" instead of "Treehouse loves Jozef" because you didn't do the assigning!

I hope that's clue enough.
