Game Development How to Make a Video Game Player Input and Cameras Move the Player with Animation

Frog direction.

So I typed the code correctly I believe, because my frog jumps. But he only jumps when I use the A and D keys, or the left and right arrow. Is this correct? Why won't he jump when I use the W and S keys, or the up and down keys?

using UnityEngine;
using System.Collections;

public class PlayerMovement : MonoBehaviour {
    private Animator playerAnimator;
    private float moveHorizontal;
    private float moveVertical;
    private Vector3 movement;

    // Use this for initialization
    void Start () {
        playerAnimator = GetComponent<Animator> ();

    // Update is called once per frame
    void Update () {
        moveHorizontal = Input.GetAxisRaw ("Horizontal");
        moveVertical = Input.GetAxisRaw ("Vertical");

        movement = new Vector3 (moveHorizontal, 0.0f);

    void FixedUpdate () {
        if (movement != Vector3.zero) {
            playerAnimator.SetFloat ("Speed", 3f);
        } else {
            playerAnimator.SetFloat ("Speed", 0f);

movement = new Vector3(moveHorizontal,0.0f,); you forgot moveVertical after 0.0f, movement = new Vector3(moveHorizontal,0.0f,moveVertical);

Thank you very much!

It didn't, but the next video we wrote some other script using Quaternion which some how made it turn using all keys. But I thank you so very much for helping me nevertheless! :)
