Still in the learning process for learning to code but when I get to that cross I am still debating what I may want to do. I am not really graphically talented, am not good with photoshop, or artistic. My question is are these traits needed to be a front end developer. If I am developing the face of someones webpage are images supplied in a job or do I have to come up with the ideas?

It really is all up to you and the clients that you seek! Typically, a designer is going to be the one who is creating graphics and altering/editing images and whatnot, though a little bit of image manipulation (resizing and other small tasks) does come in handy for a developer. If you're not skilled in those areas and don't want to learn them, you can always hire a designer to handle those aspects of the job (making sure the client is aware of this, of course), or if you're working on a team at a company somewhere, that may already be the workflow to begin with. Don't let a disinclination regarding graphic design and the like deter you from learning to code! It's always valuable to have coding skills, with or without design skills in addition. You are not required to be a designer to be a developer; they are two separate things. As with anything, there are always people that are stronger at one over the other, and fewer still who do both equally well and can run the entire show on their own. If you are focused more on the development side of things, you will just find that part of the process will be dependent on another/others, prior to or in tandem with your development of a given site.

2,599 PointsErik you are awesome. Thank you very much for the reply. Resizing and things like that is fine for me. Ask me to draw a house and you get a square with a triangle on top of it :) I think I am ultimately going to want to lear both front and back end but just was curious in that aspect of the front end. Thank you again for your help.
