Front end developer

Hi, i'm nearly new to treehouse, and i have a question, sorry for my english, i'm french.

In the front end developer track, is it better to stop after CSS basics, and try a lot to master what i learned for a month or more, before continuing the cursus ?

Or is it better to finish this course to see a larger display of front end web and increase skills in each theme, after the entire course?

Thanks for answering, i could help me;

Personally I think it is great to have a small project like building a website to practice before you proceed with the course. This way you can use what you have learned and more, you'll run into problems and fix them, after all you learn the most by doing. And not necessarily for a month, but for a few days or a week pherhaps. And if you want to check out more continue the course.

I think "Try to master it" is the wrong mindset. Maybe experiment with it or start learning it would work better. Every time you complete a section build a simple project that uses it or incorporate what you learned into an old project. Then you have multiple projects at the end of a course and maybe you can use everything you learned in that course to turn one of them into a portfolio item.
