Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types list.remove()

frustrated. I can't seem to get this list deletion down

what am I missing here?

lists.py
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]


states.remove(5)
states.remove('red' 'green' 'blue')

Hey while using .remove() you will have to specify all the characters - You forgot the [] which were in the list - you can do it in 2 ways

states.remove(['red', 'green', 'blue'])
del states[1]
