4,090 PointsFull Stack Javascript Developer.. write all from scratch?
In regards to becoming a JSFS, how much JS code will I be writing from scratch? Is that just reserved for JS developers?

243,656 PointsThere's not much "from scratch" in the courses.
Most courses focus on a specific concept and provide a context in the workspaces or challenges that you modify or build onto. Occasionally, the instructor in a video will make a recommendation of some project you might try on your own to test and expand your mastery of the concepts, but these are not required to complete the courses.

4,090 PointsI guess what I mean to ask is in the professional world of a Full Stack Javascript developer will I be asked to open a blank document/file and just start writing from absolutely nothing?

243,656 PointsSure this will happen, but then you can generally find a template based on some previous work or something from the internet to give you a head start. It would be extremely unlikely that a client or employer would insist that you not use available resources that would make you more productive.
Also, more "real world" assignments involve modifying something that already exists rather than creating something totally new.
